Montana State University hosts annual Spring Rodeo from April 10-13, 2025

The 2025 Montana State University (MSU) Spring Rodeo is scheduled to take place from April 10 to April 13 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse in Bozeman. This annual event marks the sole home competition for the MSU rodeo teams this season.

The week of the rodeo will begin with a campus ride on Wednesday, April 9, featuring the rodeo team. The procession will start at the Rendezvous Dining Pavilion at 11:45 a.m., moving through the campus and pausing briefly at the Malone Centennial Mall before concluding at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

The rodeo competition itself is divided into two sets of events over four days. The first set will occur on Thursday and Friday, with the second set on Saturday and Sunday. The Bobcat rodeo team will face nine visiting teams from Montana and Wyoming. The schedule for the events is as follows:

- Thursday, April 10: Performance rounds at 7 p.m.

- Friday, April 11: Slack at 10 a.m.; Short-Go Performance at 7 p.m.

- Saturday, April 12: Slack at 10 a.m.; Performance rounds at 7 p.m.

- Sunday, April 13: Short-Go Performance at 1 p.m.

Tickets for the event, where seating is reserved, are available for purchase starting at $12 per day. Children aged 2 and under can enter free of charge if seated on a guardian's lap. Tickets can be bought online at montanastate.evenue.net/events/ROD or via phone at 406-994-CATS. Additionally, the rodeo will be streamed live on the Cowboy Channel app and broadcast across Montana on the Scripps network.
