Montana State University's School of Music is set to host a concert featuring classical guitarist Marko Topchii. The event will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, in Reynolds Recital Hall within MSU's Howard Hall.
Marko Topchii, who began his musical journey with the guitar at age four in Ukraine, has achieved significant recognition in the field. He has secured over 100 awards in international competitions and performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, Salle Cortot in Paris, and Yamaha Ginza Hall in Tokyo.
The program for the MSU concert includes performances of “Undercurrents” by Frederic Hand and “Toccata” by Joaquín Rodrigo, along with nine other pieces.
Tickets for the concert are priced at $15 for general admission and $5 for MSU students. Admission is free for those from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online starting at noon on April 3.
