Three candidates for the position of dean of the Honors College at Montana State University will be interviewed on campus from March 3 to March 5. As part of their interviews, each candidate will conduct an open forum that is accessible to the public.
The forums are scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Byker Auditorium within the Chemistry and Biochemistry Building, followed by a reception open to all attendees. The schedule for the forums is as follows:
- Bonnie Roos, research director at West Texas A&M University's Sybil B. Harrington College of Fine Arts and Humanities, will hold her forum on Monday, March 3.
- Christopher Kolda, professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Notre Dame, is set for Tuesday, March 4.
- Richard Badenhausen, current dean of the Honors College at Westminster University, will present on Wednesday, March 5.
MSU Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Robert Mokwa and Dean Adams—chair of the search committee and dean of the College of Arts and Architecture—are encouraging faculty, staff, students, and community members to attend these sessions and contribute feedback during this phase of selecting a new leader for the Honors College.
