Rep. Ryan Zinke, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Montana's 1st district, shared several updates on social media recently. The tweets touched on international affairs and local community engagement.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Zinke commented on the global implications of U.S. foreign policy following recent events in Afghanistan. He stated: "After Biden’s disastrous retreat from Afghanistan, our enemies didn’t fear us and our allies didn’t trust us. Tonight, the President is putting the world on notice that, in the words of Teddy Roosevelt, America is once again holding the 'Big Stick.'"

In another tweet posted shortly after, Zinke addressed a significant development concerning national security and justice for military families affected by past attacks: "The Abbey Gate bombing was a horrible day for Americans, and I mourn the unnecessary and tragic loss of life. Trump just announced the terrorist behind that attack has been apprehended and is being brought to America." He emphasized that families deserve closure regarding this incident.

Later that day, Zinke highlighted his involvement with constituents from Montana during an event at MT Coffee in Washington D.C.: "Almost 100 Montanans joined the delegation at MT Coffee this morning! Love to see such a big beautiful crowd representing our great state in the nations Capitol."
