The U.S. Senate has passed a resolution honoring the “bravery, sacrifice and heroism” of firefighters and first responders who fight wildfires in Montana and other states.
A poll released Friday in the Montana U.S. Senate race shows Gov. Steve Bullock, a Democrat, within three points of incumbent Sen. Steve Daines, a Republican.
According to the Missoula Current, the Montana Secretary of State’s Office reported that close to 400,000 mail-in ballots already have been returned with less than a week before the Nov. 3 election. That could be more than half the ballots that will be cast in the election, depending on turnout, the story reported.
