Rep. Ryan Zinke, currently representing Montana’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently taken to social media to express his views on various issues. Zinke, who succeeded Steve Daines in 2023, has been vocal on foreign military sales, housing policy, and his appearances in Montana's political scene.

On April 9, 2025, Zinke announced his support for the President's Executive Order intended to "streamline foreign military sales for trusted allies." He emphasized that reducing bureaucratic obstacles enhances national security, supports domestic manufacturing, and accelerates the delivery of essential technology to strategic partners. Zinke noted the readiness of the House Foreign Affairs Committee's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Task Force to implement this initiative.

By April 11, 2025, Zinke shared about his early morning appearance at the Montana State Capitol with journalist J.S. Ambarian on a program by @KXLH. Though details of the discussion were not disclosed, it highlighted his active engagement in state politics.

Later that same day, Zinke reflected on his meeting with the Montana Association of Realtors in Helena. He underscored their consensus on taking action at multiple government levels to "address the housing crisis." However, he strongly opposed the idea of selling public lands to developers as a viable solution.

Zinke, 61, born in Bozeman, Montana, in 1961, currently resides in Whitefish. He is an alumnus of the University of Oregon and National University, illustrating his long-standing commitment to the state and its governance.
