Montana's uperintendent of Public Instruction has put together two task forces to help provide guidance on how to reopen schools in the upcoming year, the State of Montana Newsroom reported.
“Montana families and educators are looking forward to the new school year this fall with optimism,” superintendent Elise Arntzen told the outlet. “As state leaders, we must support them. The Montana Learn and Montana Flex 2020 Task Forces will bring together students, parents, educators, and state and local leaders to provide families and schools with the resources that they need to succeed in the coming school year.”
The first task force, the Montana Learn 2020 Task Force, will help determine the resources families and teachers will need, according to the State of Montana Newsroom. This task force will consists of educators, parents, students and other community partners.
The second one, the Montana Flex 2020 Task Force, will help assess state and federal rules for reopening school and will be made up of education associations, school administrators and the Board of Public Education.
