Montana State offers free Adobe Express course for digital literacy

Montana State University Academic Technology and Outreach will offer a four-week course in April on Adobe Express, a web-based set of design applications. The course, titled "Explore Digital Literacy and Design with Adobe Express," is open to MSU affiliates and the public at no cost.

Participants will learn multimedia design and content creation skills through hands-on activities. Topics covered include generative artificial intelligence, accessibility principles, and personal marketing.

The classes will be held in person from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays starting April 1 in Jabs Hall, Room 211. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops but can use classroom computers if necessary.

The course schedule is as follows:

- April 1: Branding and social media

- April 8: Print design

- April 15: Video editing

- April 22: Web and ePortfolio design

Free parking is available from 6 p.m. in designated lots near South 11th Avenue and West Harrison Street, as well as west of Rendezvous Dining Pavilion.

Interested individuals can register by visiting ATO's website or calling 406-994-4090. Enrollment is limited to 40 students, with registration closing on March 14.
