2.1% of Gallatin County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Gallatin County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,429 people out of the 116,725 living in Gallatin County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Gallatin County has decreased compared to the 2.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Gallatin County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 67,141 people who had a job during that time, 53 were employed in the Armed Forces and 67,088 belonged to the civilian labor force.
