This Weekend Has Been Another Busy One for Bozeman Police Officers

This weekend has been another busy one for Bozeman Police officers.

It started with officers being called to a local hotel for a male trying to break into rooms, wearing gloves, and acting like he was under the influence of something. Officers contacted the male, who refused to identify himself and actively assaulted officers causing injury to at least one. The male was arrested for Aggravated Burglary and Assault on a Peace Officer.

Officers contacted a male for urinating in public; the male was less than cooperative and subsequently arrested. During his arrest, he kicked an officer.

The weekend continued with officers called to a domestic on the west side of town. During that investigation, a female attempted to flee and ignored officers' commands. She then kicked officers during her arrest. She continued to resist the arrest and was placed in a WRAP restraint device to prevent her from hurting herself or anyone else.

A little later, officers were called to multiple fights downtown. At least one person was struck by a beer bottle, causing a large laceration to their face. Another person was arrested for sexual assault. At the same time, officers were investigating a DUI where the driver drove onto a sidewalk in a residential area.

The next day, officers responded to Wheat Dr for an assault. Officers located two individuals who were assaulted several times after the offenders broke into their home. Officers later found the offenders, still wearing their bloodied clothing, and booked them on multiple Aggravated Burglary charges.

The final significant call of the weekend was another domestic. One individual went to jail for violating felony probation conditions. The other person went to jail for Partner Family Member Assault and obstructing.

This is just the highlight reel and does not include multiple other arrests and calls for service made over the weekend. We thank the public for being patient with response times to non-emergent reports.
