Of the 1,950 citizens living in Manhattan in 2020, 1,375 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 667 of those people were female and 708 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
