Montana State University will host its annual International Food Bazaar on February 12. The event, featuring dishes from over 30 countries, will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Miller and Rendezvous dining halls.
The public is invited to attend with tickets available for purchase. Adult admission costs $16 for entry into one dining hall, while students with residential meal plans can use their CatCard as they would for a regular meal.
MSU Culinary Services, in collaboration with the MSU Office of International Programs, will prepare the food to celebrate the diverse student body. Brennan Reeves, director of international student and scholar services in the Office of International Programs, stated: “The International Food Bazaar provides an opportunity for our students to showcase the culinary elements of their home countries, and has grown in popularity since its inception.”
Miller Dining Commons will serve cuisine from Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Greece, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam and the Arabian Peninsula. Meanwhile, Rendezvous Dining Pavilion will offer dishes from China, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Italy, Japan again along with Morocco and others.
