Zinke discusses timber production challenges and legislative support in recent posts

Rep. Ryan Zinke, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Montana’s 1st district, has recently shared his views and activities on social media through several posts. These posts highlight his meetings and legislative actions as well as reflections on historical events.

On December 5, 2024, Rep. Zinke posted about a meeting with Andrew Miller and Doug Reed regarding timber production in Montana and the broader western United States. He stated, "Today, I had a great meeting with Andrew Miller and Doug Reed about timber production in Montana and across the West. The timber production in Montana has been tanked by radical environmentalists and it is time to ensure our timber producers are able to make products moving…".

The following day, December 6, 2024, he announced his support for educational legislation with a post stating, "Today I voted for the Crucial Communism Teaching Act. A complete education on civics and history must include the very real historic atrocities and geopolitical threats that the communist ideology poses. While the CCP pushes their propaganda on our children via social media…".

On December 7, 2024, Rep. Zinke commemorated a significant historical event by posting about Pearl Harbor's anniversary: "83 years ago today, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked the Pearl Harbor Naval Base. Today we remember the 2,403 lives lost on that day of infamy.".
