Former Red Lodge High School standout and current Montana State Bobcats player, Thomas Buchanan will compete in the NCAA Division I FCS Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the seventh seeded Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.
The first game is on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
Montana State University’s track and field teams broke three school records during competitions held across California last weekend. Standout performances came from Caroline Hawkes and Tilde Bjerager while several other athletes achieved personal or program milestones.

Montana State women’s golf team is tied for second after day one of the Big Sky Championship in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Three Bobcats placed in the individual top ten following strong performances by Norah Seidl, Eva Heinz, and Lauren Greeny.
