The Barracuda Swim Club will host a swim meet at the Swim Center on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. The facility will be closed to the public during these dates, with regular swim times resuming on Monday, April 20 at 5:30 a.m.

The closure is due to the swim meet taking place over the weekend. Swimmers and community members who use the facility are advised to plan accordingly around these dates.

As summer approaches, most of the part-time lifeguard staff are leaving for home. Because of this staffing change, officials said that Sunday, May 3 will be the last day that the Swim Center can operate this spring.

Additionally, the final open boating session for spring is scheduled for Sunday, May 3 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. There are no more open boating sessions planned for upcoming first Mondays of each month.

These changes reflect seasonal staffing adjustments and programming updates as spring transitions into summer.
