Have you provided your feedback yet? Since September of 2022, we have been gathering input on the City's Unified Development Code (UDC). This is the set of regulations that determines what can be built where in our community. The regulations in the UDC guide development to help bring the City’s adopted plans and goals to reality through rules around land use, housing, transportation, and sustainability.

Check out the many topics contained in the UDC at bozeman-code.net and provide your input on the ones that matter most to you BY MAY 31st! We've got easy to navigate surveys where you can learn about topics and provide feedback online. Topics include:

  • Housing diversity
  • Bike parking
  • Vehicle parking
  • Low Impact Development
  • Planning for Climate Change
The City Commission and advisory boards have held several work sessions to give broad direction on the code updates. Public input will further refine the new code drafts. The goal of this project is to simplify the code and make revisions that bring us closer to our goals around climate, housing, and smart growth.

See the project website at Engage.Bozeman.net/UDC where you can review work done to date and provide input on issues of concern and influence the future of the community.

The surveys will close on May 31st!

We hope to hear from you soon.
