Gallatin County Sheriff's Office Celebrated the Retirement of K9 Miles

Our office recently celebrated the retirement of K9 Miles.  You may have gotten to know Miles over the years through the many posts we’ve shared of him training and working.  Miles along with other K9s that are trained to alert on marijuana have had to be retired due to the marijuana legalization.  Luckily Miles has had a great 6 years of service with his partner Deputy Doug Lieurance.  Currently, Miles is settling in to home life and adjusting to retirement with the Lieurance family.

*Special thanks to Bridger Animal Nutrition for their continued generous support of our K9 program.
