Senator Steve Daines visited Stillwater County today to receive updates about our path for recovery. Commissioner Riveland and Emergency Manager David Stamey provided Senator Daines with updates on the recovery progress. Stillwater Mine leadership was also present and provided Senator Daines with updates about their ongoing recovery efforts. Stillwater County appreciates the ongoing support that Senator Daines has provided during the flooding.

The City of Bozeman has alerted permit applicants about a phishing scam impersonating local officials. Residents are urged to verify payment portals and communication sources before providing personal information.
The Barracuda Swim Club’s upcoming meet will close the Swim Center to public use on April 18-19. Regular hours resume April 20. Due to staff departures, operations and open boating sessions end after May 3.
Bozeman has started updating its Urban Forest Management Plan with an emphasis on public input. A virtual meeting will be held April 28 where residents can share their views on managing city trees.
