On Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m., Sammie Howell, a former Columbus High School standout, contributed to the Gallaudet Bison’s 8-0 win against the Sarah Lawrence Gryphons in an NCAA Division III softball matchup.
Gallaudet Softball Complex served as the venue. This was the teams’ second meeting this season. The previous matchup on Sunday, March 8, saw the Bison secure a 9-0 victory over the Gryphons.
Howell finished with one hit in two at-bats, two runs scored, one RBI, two walks, and one strikeout.
The Bison will host their next contest against the Lancaster Bible Chargers on Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at Gallaudet Softball Complex.
