On March 11, 2025, Rep. Zinke shared insights from a meeting with educators from reservations in Montana. He stated: “Great meeting today with a group of educators from reservations in Montana. We talked about funding, resources, and how we can ensure every student has access to quality education. Every kid deserves a great education.”
Later that day, Zinke announced his support for legislation aimed at addressing pandemic-related fraud. He tweeted: “I just voted YES on the Pandemic Unemployment Fraud Enforcement Act… More than $100 billion in pandemic-era unemployment benefits were lost to fraud, and with thousands of unresolved complaints and investigations, now is NOT the time to let criminals off the hook.”
On March 12, 2025, Rep. Zinke addressed concerns regarding Social Security services in Kalispell and Missoula through another tweet: “Social Security is not shutting down in Kalispell and Missoula. SSA is looking to get rid of several hearing rooms that have not been used due to the shift in beneficiaries’ preference for virtual hearings.” He emphasized that renegotiating leases for unused space would save taxpayer dollars.
