Rep. Ryan Zinke, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Montana’s 1st district, has shared several updates on his official social media platform. The posts highlight ongoing initiatives and funding efforts that impact both national and local communities.

On May 13, 2025, Rep. Zinke expressed his support for certain policies by stating “America First policies work”.

Later that day, he announced significant financial backing for a local project with the message: “Big funding for the little town of West Yellowstone! Our public lands fuel our tourism economy. Today’s $1.29M FAA grant will support construction of the new 36,000 square foot terminal at West Yellowstone Airport, a seasonal airport that welcomes thousands of visitors to”. This highlights federal investment in infrastructure supporting tourism.

Ryan Zinke was born in Bozeman, Montana in 1961 and resides in Whitefish. He has been representing Montana’s 1st District since 2023 after succeeding Steve Daines and previously served in the Montana Senate from 2009 to 2013. Zinke is an alumnus of the University of Oregon and National University.
