The Montana State volleyball team will host its third spring scrimmage against the University of Providence at Shroyer Gym on April 18. Head coach Matt Houk said the team is eager for another opportunity to compete at home and continue its preparations for the upcoming season.

This event gives fans a final chance to see the Bobcats play at home this spring, as their last scheduled match will take place on the road later in April. The day begins with drills starting at 10 a.m., followed by a full scrimmage between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Both sessions are free and open to the public.

“We are excited to be back home for our third spring scrimmage,” Houk said. “We have gotten a lot out of our first two. We’ve learned about ourselves and where we need to put the focus for the last couple of weeks. Providence is coming off a great season, and we are looking forward to competing against them throughout the day.”

A youth volleyball clinic, which has already sold out, will follow after the main event beginning at 4:30 p.m.

The Bobcats’ spring schedule concludes with an away match against UM Western on April 25.
