Montana State University’s School of Music will present its 10th annual Noël concerts on Friday, December 5, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bozeman. The event will feature performances by the MSU Symphony Orchestra and three student choirs: the Montanans, University Chorale, and Voces Luminis. Faculty members Kirk Aamot, Lukas Graf, and Tobin Stewart will conduct the ensembles.

Two concerts are scheduled for December 5, with start times at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. “These student ensembles love the opportunity to perform together,” said Kirk Aamot, a professor in the School of Music who conducts the Montanans and Voces Luminis. “Many students come from rural communities in Montana where there might have only been a handful of students involved in making music, but now they get to do it together, and the audience can stand and sing along.”

Tickets for the concerts are priced at $25 and go on sale starting Friday, November 21. They can be purchased through the Bobcat Ticket Office by calling 406-994-CATS or visiting montanastate.evenue.net.

For those unable to attend in person, Montana PBS will broadcast recordings of the performances online after the concerts. Broadcast times include Monday, December 15 at 8:30 p.m.; Tuesday, December 23 at 8 p.m.; and Wednesday, December 24 at 7 p.m.

Additional details about live performance times can be found on the MSU Calendar.
