Montana State University opens registration for spring noncredit courses in Bozeman

Montana State University announced on March 30 that registration is now open for a range of professional development and continuing education courses running from April through June. The courses are available to both the Bozeman community and campus members, offering opportunities to learn skills such as welding, executive communication, artificial intelligence tools, movie making, and more.

The initiative aims to provide accessible learning experiences that support career advancement and personal growth. Courses include “Executive Presence for Mid-Career Professionals” on April 2, “Women in Welding” from April 7-30, “Improv for Innovative Leadership” on April 21, “Extending the Chatbot: Getting Started with AI Agents and Human-in-the-Loop Design” from April 22 to May 6, “Embody Your Space” on April 30, “Project Management Essentials and CAPM Prep” from May 12-14, and “Introduction to Movie Making” from June 3-24. Each course is designed to offer practical skills relevant in today’s workplace or personal life.

A new program called MSU After Hours will also be introduced this spring. This series invites attendees onto campus during weeknights for hands-on workshops such as visual storytelling or stargazing. The workshops cost $25 each and do not require previous experience or prerequisites.
