Montana State University announced on April 6 that its Spring Rodeo will take place from Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12, at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the university campus. This event marks the only home competition of the season for MSU’s rodeo teams.
The Spring Rodeo will feature two separate events: one spanning Thursday and Friday, and another covering Saturday and Sunday. Visiting teams from across the region are expected to participate. The schedule includes performance rounds starting at 7 p.m. on both Thursday and Friday evenings, with slack beginning at 10 a.m. each morning. Saturday follows a similar format with slack in the morning and performance rounds in the evening, while Sunday’s short-go performance is set for 1 p.m.
Seating is reserved for all sessions inside the Fieldhouse, with single-day tickets starting at $17. Children aged two and under can attend free if seated on a guardian’s lap. Tickets are available online or by phone through MSU’s ticketing service. For those unable to attend in person, live coverage will be provided via livestream on the Cowboy Channel app as well as broadcast across Montana through Scripps network channels.
