The Montana State men’s tennis team is set to play against Utah on Saturday, March 7, with the match scheduled for 4 pm. The Bobcats continue a stretch of nine consecutive away matches over seven weeks. Their current season record stands at 3-6.

Utah, with a 3-9 record this season, has shown consistency in both the top and bottom singles positions. Dante Teramo has achieved a 4-4 record at No. 1 singles, while Charles Frey holds a 4-1 mark at the sixth position.

Montana State’s lineup saw sophomore Yassin Elaroussy move into the top singles spot last week during dual matches against Portland State and Portland. Elaroussy recorded wins at No. 2 singles on Saturday and then secured another victory after moving to No. 1 on Sunday. He currently holds a 6-3 record across four different ladder spots this season.

Freshman David Ismanescu has also contributed significantly, entering this weekend with a 6-1 record while playing primarily in the bottom two singles positions.

Utah’s three victories in the current season have come against Big Sky Conference teams Montana, Northern Arizona, and Idaho State.

Live statistics for Saturday’s match will be available online.
