On Friday, March 13, Montana State Billings Yellowjackets, featuring former Columbus High School standout Katelyn Hamilton, were defeated 63-36 by the Central Washington Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The matchup started at 6 p.m. at Nicholson Arena and marked the Yellowjackets’ first tournament game against Central Washington.
Montana State University’s track and field teams broke three school records during competitions held across California last weekend. Standout performances came from Caroline Hawkes and Tilde Bjerager while several other athletes achieved personal or program milestones.

Montana State women’s golf team is tied for second after day one of the Big Sky Championship in Litchfield Park, Arizona. Three Bobcats placed in the individual top ten following strong performances by Norah Seidl, Eva Heinz, and Lauren Greeny.
