Montana State senior Jed Miller has been named the Big Sky Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after leading his team to three consecutive wins to close out the regular season. This marks Miller’s first career weekly honor from the conference and is the second time this season a Montana State player has received such recognition, following Patrick McMahon’s Co-Player of the Week award in December.

During the final week, Miller averaged 18.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in matchups against Portland State, Sacramento State, and Northern Arizona. He finished second among all Big Sky players in both rebounds and assists for that period. Miller shot nearly 49 percent from the field and made half of his three-point attempts.

His top performance came in an 84-69 win over Portland State on February 26, where he recorded 25 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals, and one block. These efforts contributed to Montana State securing three double-digit victories and earning the No. 2 seed for the upcoming Big Sky Tournament.

Montana State will begin its tournament play in the second round on Sunday at Idaho Central Arena. The Bobcats will face either No. 7 Idaho or No. 8 Sacramento State, with tipoff scheduled for 8 p.m. Mountain Time on Scripps Sports/ESPN+.
