Colorado sweeps Montana State Bobcats women’s tennis team in Boulder

Colorado defeated Montana State in women’s tennis on Friday, securing a 7-0 victory in Boulder. Colorado started by winning the doubles point and continued to win all singles matches in straight sets.

Montana State’s Kavya Khirwar lost at No. 5 singles with scores of 6-1, 7-6 (3). Terezie Stverakova was defeated at No. 4 singles, 6-2, 7-5. At the top position, Nia Gelashvili fell 6-4, 6-3. Anna Wise lost her match at No. 2 singles with scores of 6-2, 6-2. Angel Bean and Lola Bean completed the lineup for Montana State, losing their matches at No. 3 (6-2, 6-4) and No. 6 (6-1, 6-2), respectively.

Following this result, Montana State’s record stands at two wins and one loss for the season while Colorado earned a win in its first match of the year. Montana State is scheduled to play next against Colorado State on Sunday.
