Of the 936 people living in West Yellowstone in 2019, 45.3 percent (424) were women and 54.7 percent (512) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Yellowstone Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 369-to-271. In the 65 and over age range, there were 69 females and 71 males.
