Of the 3,058 people living in Big Sky in 2019, 47.7 percent (1,458) were women and 52.3 percent (1,600) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Yellowstone Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,138-to-1,099. In the 65 and over age range, there were 119 females and 160 males.
