The City of Bozeman announced on Mar. 24 that it has partnered with Polco to conduct the 2026 National Community Survey, inviting all residents and community members to participate in the process.
The survey aims to gather feedback from Bozeman residents about various aspects of city life, which will help inform local decision-making. The results are expected to highlight both strengths and areas where improvements can be made, reflecting what matters most to those living in Bozeman.
According to the announcement, randomly selected households will receive mailed invitations over the coming weeks. Recipients are encouraged to follow instructions provided and share their input. For those not chosen in this initial round, a community-wide survey will be available soon after.
Polco will compile the responses into a report that will be shared with the community once completed. The National Community Survey was developed by the National Research Center at Polco and covers topics such as economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and other elements related to overall livability in Bozeman.
Survey results will also allow city officials and residents to compare Bozeman’s performance with other communities across the country.
