Montana State women’s golfer Ashleigh Wilson was named Big Sky Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week following her fourth-place finish at the Bell Bank Pay It Forward Collegiate in Litchfield Park, Arizona, on March 23-24, according to a March 26 announcement from the conference office.

This recognition marks Wilson’s first career Big Sky weekly honor and is the fourth such award for a Bobcat player this season. The achievement highlights a strong season for Montana State women’s golf, with previous weekly honors going to Norah Seidl on Feb. 17 after her performance at the Texas Golf Throwdown, Lauren Greeny on Oct. 1 following her win at the Diane Thomason Invitational, and Eva Heinz on Sept. 17 after leading her team to victory at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate.

Wilson posted a three-round total of six-under-par 207 at Wigwam Blue Course, tying for the third-lowest individual score in program history. Her rounds of 68-65-74 helped guide Montana State to a third-place team finish with an overall score of fourteen-under-par 838—setting a new program record for team score on a par-71 course and ranking as their second-lowest all-time team total. Wilson’s second-round score of 65 matched another program milestone as one of its lowest individual rounds.

With this result, Wilson achieved both her second-best career finish and delivered Montana State’s lowest individual tournament score for two consecutive events. The team’s performance in Arizona marked its fifth top-three placement this season.

The Bobcats will wrap up their regular season by hosting the Bobcat Desert Classic from April 13-15 at the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Arizona.
